How To Build Generational Health
The Agenda. Team

You may not realize it but as you learn about how your menstrual cycle works, shift your habits to support your cyclical nature and work with your cycle phases, you are creating something we like to call “Generational Health.”

You are changing things for the better for yourself, but also for the generations that come after.

What is “Generational Health”?

Generational Health planting good seeds and laying a good foundation so not only can you age well, but you can be an example for the generations around you. It’s about being the cycle-breaker of bad health habits and making habit shifts that will help us stay healthy for as long as we can.

Ways to create Generational Health

  • Understand your health profile and don’t keep that information secret!

Ask your family about their health histories, take notes and save that information somewhere. If/when you have things happen that need to get added to your health history, take notes! If you have kids or even nieces/nephews. Don’t keep your health history a secret! Help them understand the importance of sharing this information with their medical team.

  • Preconception

You can set future generations up for better health outcomes by taking care of yourself before you conceive.

  • The example you set

If those around you aren’t ready to follow you down the health and wellness trail. That’s OK! Start doing the things you know you need to do and let them see how you good you feel. Showing is more powerful than telling.

  • Be an advocate

You can vote for generational health with your dollars, by supporting causes that champion health and platforming people whose values align with yours.
